legally established entity responsible for the overall operations and 
management of water supply and sanitation services in Arusha City. It is

 Authority is to deliver excellent water supply and sanitation services 
for all categories of customers and stakeholders in Arusha City.<br /> In 
order to attain its vision and mission, AUWSA is seeking to recruit 
dynamic, experienced, competent and qualified Tanzanians to fill the 
following vacant posts within the Authority's establishment.<br /> <br /> Technical Services Manager<br /> 1.1 Appointing Authority: Board of Directors.<br /> 1.2 Reports To: Managing Director.<br /> 1.3 Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:<br /> The successful applicant must be / have:<br /> <br /> Holder of a Certificate of Secondary Education/Advanced Certificate of Secondary<br /> Education from National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).<br /> Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil and Water Resources) from a recognized Institution.<br /> Holder of a Masters Degree in Engineering (Water Resources Management) from a recognized Institution.<br /> Must be registered by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineer<br />
 Should have at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience out of 
which at least two (2) years should be at a senior position<br /> <br /> 1.4 Employment Terms: Three years Contract - Renewable upon satisfactory performance.<br /> <br /> 1.5 Main Duties & Responsibilities:<br /> To oversee water supply and sewerage systems.<br /> To provide advice on the policies, standards, and procedures for.-<br /> The production and distribution of water.<br /> The control of water quality and wastewater effluent.<br /> The maintenance and operation of sanitation systems.<br /> The maintenance and operation of tools, equipment and vehicles used in running water and sanitation works.<br />
 The maintenance of natural vegetation and landscape of the water 
sources as well as water and wastewater treatment plants including tank 
sites and booster station.<br /> Setting materials and financial performance targets in conjunction with the<br /> To oversee treatment of water and disposing of water wastes.<br /> To oversee maintenance and repair, Construction of water network activities of the Authority.<br /> To prepare annual budgets and manpower plans for the Technical Services Department.<br />
 To oversee planning of urban water development projects so as to ensure
 that operation, maintenance and quality requirements are taken into
