Off Grid Electric Tanzania is seeking to recruit Field Sales Leader
whose primarily focus is to sell allocated sales targets per month as
advised by his/her supervisor and to manage, coach and lead assigned
team of Field Sales Representatives to sell and attain team targets.
A successful candidate is expected to;
Off Grid Electric, through its consumer brand Zola, combines Silicon Valley technology with local expertise to offer African homes and businesses a long-term solar solution to an unreliable grid. Adaptable to both energy needs and income, Off Grid Electric’s solution can be bought over time through a leasing structure. The first few watts starts a chain reaction that enables people to achieve commonly held aspirations: security, education, access to information, and a longer and more efficient day.
Today, Off Grid Electric powers more than 100,000 homes and businesses across Tanzania, Rwanda and Côte d’Ivoire. A successful candidate is expected to;
- Coach the team of Field Sales Representative on a daily basis.
- Lead by example i.e Hold weekly personal conferences with your direct reports and others as necessary
Follow OGE processes on reporting, sales and leadership. - Commit to premium standards in OGE Sales Process. i.e Door to Door Sales Approach, Problem led approach,Uses quality measures & problem solving to improve process and ensures compliance with relevant standards & procedures.
- Be action oriented, a problem solver and enjoys working hard.
- Demonstrate energy and drive for things seen as challenging.
- Have work ethic,a track record of working hard physically, mentally and emotionally.
- Educational qualifications: Minimum of Form 4 Secondary Education, Advanced Diploma /University Degree in Related Discipline is an extra advantage.
- Language Skills.Fluent in both English and Swahili.
- Experience,Minimum of 6 months in direct sales (field sales) with a proven track record of delivering assigned team and personal targets for a minimum of 3 months.
