Automotive Additives /Chemicals / Car Care
We require a highly motivated sales representative who has previous experience selling Automotive, Engineering, Industrial or FMCG products via distributors.
Ideal location – Belfast, Antrim, Derry, Newry.
£22-25k Basic (Dependent on area and experience) + Bonus / Commission + Car + Benefits + Career Progression + Sales Training
The products are sold into the Motor Factor / Parts Distribution sector. The role is proactive, Business Development is essential, the aim is to increase lines and turnover to a predominantly existing customer base.
Full Product Training given.
Our Client specialises in promoting leading Automotive Chemicals, Additives and Car Care brands throughout the UK and Europe. To assist with their continued growth they require an Area Sales Manager within the M4 / M5 South West / South Wales region.
The Candidate
Qualities we would expect the candidate to hold are:
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and excellent work ethic.
• Commercial acumen.
• Target and Achievement driven
• Effective communication skills
• Good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills
• Be well organised and be capable of forward planning for short and long term business growth.
The Role
• Visit existing customers and develop a plan to increasing the sales line via selling additional lines.
• Identify potential new lines to grow the business.
• Be aware of potential new accounts.
• Build good customer relationships.
• Liaise with your clients and sales team to have well-structured sales demonstration days.
• Organise and participate in trade shows and events.
• Transmit knowledge of technical products.
• Accurate call and journey planning.
Full training in sales and the product applications will be given.
This role would suit a candidate with the following skills/experience – professional sales, FMCG, automotive industry, garage workshop, automotive aftermarket, vehicle parts, tools and equipment.
