Mwanza City Commercial Complex Company Limited (MCCCCL) is the owner of Rock City Mall in Mwanza. The company is a partnership between LAPF Pensions Fund; Mwanza City Council and llemela Municipal Council, LAPF Pensions Fund being the main shareholder. The joint venture is for the purpose of construction and running of the shopping mall known as Rock City Mall, located in Mwanza.
Rock City Mall is a modern shopping complex of its kind in the Lake Region with over 20,500 square meters of lettable space comprising of banking halls, retail services and offices. Also complementing these is a spacious parking space and entertainment facilities including Children Park, Cinema halls and eating places. Since its inception, the Mall has been growing steadily and in response to that, the Company is seeking to recruit dynamic, committed, honest, qualified and result oriented professionals with proven good track record in the following job openings:
3. PR AND MARKETING OFFICER: MLS (1 Post)
a) Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute promotional, advertising and industry affairs duties and timely provide report to superiors.
Implement Company's marketing objectives, polities, procedures and programmes and timely provide report to superiors.
Act as liaison to outside advertising agencies for ongoing campaigns.
Prepare marketing plans for the Company and participate in marketing functions to ensure that more tenants are signed on and timely provide report to superiors.
Maintain the updated marketing database, including catalogues and customer files and timely provide report to superiors.
Provide marketing intelligence and timely recommend through written reports to superiors on appropriate actions.
Help in the preparation of short and long term market plans and strategies and timely provide report to superiors.
Develop effective advertising, promotional and publicity programmes of MCCCCL and timely provide report to superiors.
Prepare promotion strategy and development of promotional pitches and timely provide report to
superiors.
Implementation of marketing and communication plans and timely provide report to superiors.
Develop media and communication tools and timely provide report to superiors.
Develop and design promotional materials such as brochures, flyers and timely provide report to superiors.
Perform any other duties as he/she may be assigned by supervisor.
b) Qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent qualification plus at least three years of relevant working experience at a similar position in a reputable institution. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be computer literate and with practical ability to manage, design, and implement effective direct marketing strategies. •
c) Remuneration
Attractive package in accordance with the company salary scale will be offered to the right candidate.
