The Association of Private Health Facilities in Tanzania (APHFTA)
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES The Association of Private Health Facilities in Tanzania (APHFTA) is a Non-Governmental Organization that exists to serve as a public forum for the private health sector and provide a comprehensive array of advocacy, administrative, knowledge-sharing and networking products and services to the private health sector. APHFTA is dedicated to improving the quality of care and services in the Private Health Sector in Tanzania. APHFTA is seeking to recruit staff for the following positions: -
2. PROJECT COORDINATOR- 1 POSITION- DAR ES SALAAM
The Project Coordinator shall oversee and coordinate the implementation of the Malaria Project Activities in Geita. This includes developing project plans of action and budgets, coordinating the implementation of the project, Monitoring and evaluation of project activities and reporting. The project Coordinator shall report to the Health Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities include:-
Organize and participate in planning the different stages and tasks involved in realizing the project and draw up project action plans.
Coordinate with the project partners and zonal staff in planning the different project activities.
Participate in developing agreements for project implementation with different project partners.
Follow up with partners to ensure timely implementation of activities.
Support project staff and partners to ensure quality project implementation.
Develop project budgets, budget forecasts, budget follow-ups in collaboration with accounts departments and other program staff.
Conduct data compilation, analysis, presentation and dissemination.
Train and coach project staff and partners on data collection and quality assurance.
Follow up with the project staff and partners to ensure the activities are implemented as planned.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and Annual Technical reports for donors and internal use.
Coordinate Malaria services with the Ministry of Health and other stake holders at the Headquarters level.
Organize Public Private Partnership meetings at district, regional, zonal, to strengthen coordination with the public sector.
Represent APHFTA in different meetings conducted by donors, partners, stakeholders, members etc.
Manage the financial, material and logistical resources in the Malaria project
