• Kutathmini mwenendo wa biashara kwa kuangalia hali ya masoko katika nchi mbalimbali ambazo bidhaa zetu zinauzwa. 
• Kuandaa
 grafu na “chart” ambazo zinaonyesha, mwenendo wa bidhaa zinazoingizwa 
nchini na zile ziendazo nje kwa kila nchi ambazo hufanya biashara na 
Tanzania. 
 
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
• Kuajiriwa mwenye Shahada/Stashahada ya Juu ya Biashara 
waliojiimarisha katika fani ya Uchumi, Masoko, Uendeshaji Biashara au 
inayolingana nayo kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salam au chuo kingine 
chochote kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

Purpose

 the position    Manages his/her department, the purpose of which is the

financial sustainability of the association. Is part of middle 
management and responsible for the activities of the Promoter. 
Main 
knowledge    Qualifications in the field of fundraising and/or business 
studies, possibly with University degree or Diploma and work experience 
in international associations. Knowledge of the main criteria for 
marketing and communications in the non-profit sector, and knowledge of 
data processing systems. Knowledge of the country’s language and at 
least one other foreign language (English, French or Spanish). Ability 
to work in a team and manage the activities of collaborators and 
volunteers. 
Characteristics and skills    Ability to: 
Conduct and analyses market research to identify potential new donors 
Develop relationships with the highest possible number of groups of people 
Create and/or develop an appropriate database for the association 
Define the annual fundraising plan (to be presented to the Board of Directors) 
Develop an operational plan with clear indications on revenue, timing and methods that respond to the expected annual budget 
Monitor the progress and impact of activities

Position: Country Promoter Report to: Fund-raising Manager, 
Purpose 
of
 the position    Person responsible for coordination of the suitably 
selected and trained volunteers in the country who help to raise 
awareness, increase the number of listeners and support the radio. The 
activities of the Promoter include technical, editorial and promotional 
duties. 
Main knowledge    Have a thorough knowledge of the Radio Maria Project in all its operational aspects. 
Ability
 to adopt methods of communication designed to positively engage the 
audience (personal ability or acquired at university, on courses or at 
specialist seminars); good organizational skills; perfect knowledge of 
the country’s language and possibly another language (French, English or
 Spanish); ability to coordinate groups of people of different cultures 
and age, and with different approaches. 
Characteristics and skills   
 Identify the needs of the association, together with his/her immediate 
superiors. Schedule services and activities (promotional, editorial, 
technical) for the entire country (organize the workers called “ants”)

of the position    Supporting the Finance and Administration Office on issues relating to financial operations and Management.

six to 12 and investing in modern TV and Digital production facilities.

Three of the new language services, Amharic, Afaan Oromo and Tigrinya
 will serve our audiences in Ethiopia and Eritrea. They will be based in
 Nairobi from where the BBC produces programmes for Kiswahili and Somali
 speaking audiences. 
The BBC is looking for a creative and progressive leader to 
coordinate and oversee all editorial activities in East Africa and the 
Horn of Africa. </div>
<div itemprop="responsibilities">
Role Responsibility 
As the Head of East Africa you will act as the 
editorial reference point for WS Languages and programmes serving 
audiences in East and Horn of Africa.  You will provide dynamic, 
thoughtful and inspiring editorial leadership and managerial direction 
to all language service editors for the region as well as jointly line 
manage TV and Digital video production teams in the region. 
In close coordination with the Regional Editor BBC Africa you will 
provide strategic leadership of the BBC as a whole in the region, 
ensuring that this is done in accordance with World Service Group 
strategic priorities and demonstrating value for money. 
You will be part of BBC Africa’s senior management and will represent the BBC internally and externally where required.</div>
<div itemprop="experienceRequirements">
The Ideal Candidate 
A senior and creative leader you will have proven
 experience of leading sizeable teams through change, motivating and 
developing them along the journey.  You will have knowledge and 
understanding of the digital media market in the region and demonstrable
 senior experience of journalism in the digital field and with strong 
digital production skills and the ability to spot gaps in the market to 
develop opportunities for the BBC. 
Fluent spoken and written English and knowledge of any of the BBC’s 
broadcast languages for East and Horn of Africa is desirable but not 
mandatory.</div>
