Manchester Outsourcing is looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to join their growing support team.

The main responsibilities of the role include supporting the Compliance Director in day to day business management and ensuring that each associated business is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Duties will include:

Ø  Implement policies and procedures which satisfy the legal and regulatory requirements of the business

Ø  Communicate and implement the business’ required compliance changes
Ø  Conduct meetings with external third parties, outsourcers and clients
Ø  Support the commercial department in creating outsource/third party contracts
Ø  Review and update all compliance manuals and policies
Ø  Arrange and facilitate compliance meetings and audits with associated businesses
Ø  Compile management information for reports and presentations
Ø  Apply ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ (TCF) principles
Ø  Continually meet the objectives and targets set by line management and strive to improve performance
Ø  Work within regulatory and data protection requirements
Ø  Additional duties may be assigned or existing duties may alter.
Required skills and experience:
Ø  Senior Management experience and able to build relationships and influence at all levels
Ø  The ability to adapt and lead changes and improvements both internally and externally
Ø  Experience in creating and negotiating contractual agreements within an outsourcing environment
Ø  Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines by using own initiative
Desirable skills:
Ø  Proven experience (at least two years) of working directly in a financial services organisation with an international focus
Ø  A degree in a relevant discipline, such as law or similar, would be advantageous
