Temporary, Contract
We have an upcoming project starting March 1. It's 250 video programs (28 minutes each) for pop-up closed captioning (script provided) with placements to be turnaround within 105 days. We would like to open this job posting for testing of talent and processes. We would provide you with a test video to work from and we would need it be captioned accurately. You must have your own software to do this test/job.
Here are some general guidelines:
- Timing must be as accurate as possible and the viewer has to have enough time to read the captions
- There should be no grammatical or spelling mistakes
- Please make sure that the lines are split correctly
- Please place the captions over the characters when there is more than one person in a scene (you can find examples of this within the guideline attached)
- 2 lines per caption, pop on
- Please deliver an .srt or .scc file
Please let me know how many video programs are you willing to turnaround in the 105 days, as well as what kind of software you are working with. Applications without this information will not be considered . We will send you the test and further instructions. I look forward to learning more about what you can offer!
