Description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Section for all functions in Mtibwa Sugar Estates Limited
  • Lead the development and implementation of Environmental and Social Management System
  • Be the custodian of all EHS Policies, Procedures, Projects and other initiatives
  • Entrench Safety culture among employees, visitors and contractors
  • Define minimum safety requirement in the business and follow up to achieve
  • Make safety standard visible to all employees and visitors
  • Identify, select and train EHS internal auditors and prepare audits to monitor implementation of EHS programs
  • Identify and advice appropriate PPEs for each process
  • Ensure full compliance to relevant EHS Authorities
Qualifications
  • At least five years in managing safety
  • Degree in OH&S or ENVIRONMENT
  • Must have a knowledge of Management Skills.
  • Not More than 45 years of Age.
  • He/She must have a knowledge of mobilization skills
