Position: Bancassurance Manager
Reporting to Head-Retail Banking, the incumbent shall plan, manage, lead and direct the
Bancassurance business across all the Banks’ touch points, to achieve set business targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing of all insurance products in the Bank (Life & General).
- Ensure appropriate Bancassurance Structure.
- Develop and execute an overall Business Plan.
- Active management of relationships with all insurance partners.
- Periodic reporting of Bancassurance financials.
- Ensuring Compliance with Local Insurance regulations, policies and procedures.
- Manage marketing programmes in line with business objectives (premiums, commissions, product type, number of policies)
- Train Marketing Officers on Bancassurance products.
- Responsible for all reporting as required by the regulator – TIRA/in-house/ etc.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree holder with relevant insurance certification.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- At least 5-10-year experience in the Insurance Industry of which 3 to 5 years at a Managerial level.
- Good understanding of Insurance market in Tanzania and local laws governing Insurance.
- Excellent management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, people & project management skills.
