Channels Manager (Grade 13)
JOB PURPOSE
Provide support on channel development, making sure targets and objectives are achieved, responsible to track and give visibility to all relevant stake holders, should be able to have/keep “strategic sight” making sure operational aspects do not interfere with core objectives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives assignments from Channel Development team in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the Channel Development
projects on schedule and within budget constraints - Drive project accountabilities, timelines and deliverables
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project team members and project sponsors
- Build and maintain relationships with critical business and support stakeholders
- Prepare periodic written reports and make/deliver presentations for management regarding project status, direction, and recommendations
- Work with Channel Development team to implement new initiatives and determine best processes for integrating the programs into the operations
- Negotiates projects objectives and direction with Channel Development team
- Support root cause problem solving efforts to continuously improve processes
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience
- Five years project management or related process management experience
- Three years supervisory or management experience
- Experience supporting the business sales organization
- Strongprogram / project management experience
- Strategic thinker
- High financial acumen
