Basic Description:
Our small, but well-equipped Art Department is looking for a creative, dedicated, and detail-oriented graphic designer to join our team. In this role you would be responsible for developing innovative graphic and photographic content for our retail in-store and e-commerce operations by helping to create product packaging, website design, product photographs, product catalogs, and other visually stunning promotional materials. You will create materials that build and support our growing brands through print, digital, and more. It is a hard-working, friendly environment that requires a good attitude and the desire to be recognized for doing excellent work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continually create fresh graphic content for print and on-line use.
  • Photograph products, digitally retouch images, and upload images to local and remote image servers.
  • Assist in designing products, product packaging, and User Guides.
  • Design and implement promotional materials including: 3-D graphics and display elements for tradeshow booths, video slideshows, and graphic content for e-mail & print mailings.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Photography, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a graphic or visual designer.
  • Excellent and professional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating an excellent eye for graphic design and illustration (including color, layout, and typography).
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency with Digital SLR cameras including comfort or experience working in a studio setting.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and skills of current web design principles.
  • Demonstrates a keen attention to detail, and a desire to continually collaborate, create, develop, and grow creative initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Skills in 3D modeling.
  • A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Independence and flexibility.
  • A well-timed professional tenacity and creative conviction.
