Transactional Products & Services; This team is constantly working to extend our service capability and product range, consolidating our operations in established markets while expanding and extending in emerging markets. We divide our core capabilities into three product groups – Investor Services, Transactional Banking and International Trade Services.Job Purpose
- Develop and implement sales strategies across Tanzania
- Manage growth and retention of corporate merchants for Tanzania Acquiring
- Manage internal and external relationship pertaining to merchants
- Deliver and manage the agreed Acquiring sales and financial targets.
- Identify and address any revenue leakage
- Increasing our understanding of Merchant behavior
- Understand Competitor activities
- Monthly Reporting to internal stakeholders
- Team needs to be bolstered to support the growth in the Corporate environment
- Assist in the management of the department and its team members
- Ongoing interaction with external stakeholders including head office and other countries
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for Tanzania
- To manage sales planning, new acquisitions and reporting
- Sales targets achieved
- Engagement with corporate client head office
- Increase in monthly turnover, revenue generation and market share
- Understand and demonstrate Cross-selling of products
- To lead, manage and develop the performance of the in country merchant sales team
- To manage and maintain effective relationships with all in country staff and merchants
- Contracts signed correctly and all necessary documentation provided
- High-level of service provided to customers, including turnaround times
- Feedback from customers
- Initiative taken to obtain new customers
- Deadlines met as required by management
- Performance appraisal indicate efficient performance of duties
- High-level of service provided to customers, including turnaround times
- Queries / Complaints addressed in a timely manner (turnaround time)
- Deadlines met as required by management
- Feedback from customers indicate satisfaction with service received
- Manage sales staff (targets, strategy, customer engagement, reporting etc)
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Minimum educational qualification : Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
Some knowledge of the bank’s products and services
Sound Credit Card and Acquiring specific knowledge
3-5 years experience required in the Financial Services Industry, preferably Credit Card and Acquiring background.
Previous exposure (at least 3 year’s worth) to customer servicing activities
