Job Title: Distillation Control Room Operator
Reports to: TCS Production Shift Supervisor
Main Duties:
While working on a rotating shift, he must insure all safety and quality goals are met.
Planning distillation and tank farm flows to meet the production schedule and maximize efficiency.
Close co-ordination with FBR unit.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
Reporting to the TCS Production Shift Supervisor, responsible for production control of the distillation units and tank farm operation using the DCS control system.
Startup, operation, shutdown, process data recording of process equipment.
Monitor the DCS control system to maintain a safe operational plant while supporting production goals.
Works in the field as required to support the plant operations.
During plant shutdown operator will be expected to perform light maintenance such as manual valve replacement, hose connection/disconnection, valve turning, pipe bolting and unbolting, lifting items up to 20 kg as required, housekeeping as required to keep the plant operating safely.
Work Experience:
Minimum 4 years of petro/chemical plant operational experience.
DCS Control system operation experience.
Distillation and or fluidized bed reactor operation experience is a plus.
Education:
Minimum of Technical Diploma or College Diploma.
Skills, Capabilities and Languages:
Excellent in oral & written English is required.
