Responsibilities
- Brief description of the procedure to be carried out / performed, scheduled time & duration of procedure / survey
- to explain the surgical procedures to patients, to assess the paying ability of each patient, and to advise the appropriate fee for the surgical package proposed by the Hospital
- Follow up in case of delay
- Prepare discharge summary in consulting with consultant
- For credit / corporate patients co-ordinate with Credit Control Department
- On discharge, bid adieu with flower, hand over Help-line card to patient
- In the evening call all discharge patients and inquire their well being
- To explain about the intensity of the disease and to encourage the patients to come for follow up
- To explain the patient about the locations and facilities available in the hospitals to enable and help them to select the appropriate place to take treatment
