OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS
Objectives
The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for reviewing all the process of data collection. He/she will work closely with the Ruvuma M&E officer to oversee the quality and completeness of the project data in Ruvuma region and provide feedback to the Project Manager in project strategy.

ApplicationObjectives
The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for reviewing all the process of data collection. He/she will work closely with the Ruvuma M&E officer to oversee the quality and completeness of the project data in Ruvuma region and provide feedback to the Project Manager in project strategy.
Main tasks
- Review and strengthen the project Monitoring & Evaluation Plan to update all the process of data collection and data collection tools from different sources;
- Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use (in both regions);
- Supervise data collection in Simiyu region. Identify bottlenecks and weakness and provide technical assistance;
- Timely collect data from all the different project sources;
- Check the completeness and quality of the data collected and the data entered in the project database;
- Filling missing data or correct mistakes in collaboration with the colleagues in a team spirit;
- Supervise quality, completeness and timely collection of the project data in Ruvuma;
- Summarize and organize the data according to the requested monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually reports for Simiyu region;
- Aggregate, summarize and organize the data of the regions (Simiyu and Ruvuma) according to the requested monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually reports;
- Be available to organize the data for any kind of additional report;
- Summarize the data in relevant indicators to be utilized to monitor progress of the project;
- Suggest strategies to Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project;
- Summarize data for presentation of the project results during supervision visits with authorities and partners;
- Be available to present data during official and internal meetings;
- Keep himself/herself update on the socio-demographic and health indicators related to the project area;
- Support the development of research protocols and coordinate into operational research activities;
- Follow external evaluator’s activities;
- Ensure technical assistance and training to local government authorities;
- Contribute to strengthening CUAMM M&E system;
- Support and collaborate to the integration of CUAMM M&E tools with the national data collection system;
- Maintain high level of confidentiality on the content of the data analysed;
- Be available to perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor degree in statistics/ public health/ economy
- 3 years working experience in International NGO
- Proven proficiency in oral/written English;
- Computer literacy in MS Office and Internet
